Late nite in Bisbee; Alexa playing music much like this; a martini with my wife; just talking; lights low as to not attract bugs through the open door; letting in the coolest aire even in the depths of summer. She often falls asleep there on the couch, while I look through the trees out into the night; thinking and remembering; the alcohol helps ease honest assessments; too much though, and brooding is sure to confuse and obscure.
